Whilst Broadchurch may be recieving mixed reviews on it's second series, there's no doubt that it's again highlighted the beauty of the local area here in Dorset. David Tennant has said "This is the only place you’d ever want to come on your holidays", and we'd agree.
There's plenty to do in the area, so while you're waiting to find out what the Bluebells mean, plan your summer cruise around the Dorset coast and visit some of these great attractions.
West Bay, Bridport
The beach has not only featured in Broadchurch but was used in the introduction for the BBC's The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin. Visiting boats are welcome in Bridport Harbour and there is a slipway with space for boat trailers.

Corfe Castle
You'll have to go a bit inland to uncover the secrets of Dorset's iconic medieval castle. A favourite haunt for adults and children alike, you can't fail to be captivated by these romantic castle ruins with breathtaking views.

Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove
The Lulworth coast is accessible from either land or sea and has many beautiful beaches, but be aware that the area is used as a military range and access is sometimes restricted up to six nautical miles off shore!

Nothe Fort, Weymouth
This 19th century fort includes a museum highlighting Weymouth's role in Britain's naval history and it's a great place to visit.

Old Harry Rocks
Formed by erosion, Old Harry Rocks are three chalk formations at the most Easterly point of the Jurassic Coast, just arond the corner from Studland.
