We would like to wish all our clients a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

May 2022 be filled with beautiful boats, cooled Cliquot and of course, a brilliant brokerage… JD Yachts!

2022 will start for us as the previous year ended, busy and filled with a great selection of current listings. From Fairlines to Sunseekers, Princesses to Ferrettis, from the UK to Italy and boats ranging from £109,950 to EUR 3,950,000, we have an array of beautiful vessels currently available and looking for new owners to enjoy them.

However, we have decided to use our final blog of 2021 to reflect on some of the beautiful boats we sold during the course of the year, along with some major milestones. Unfortunately, there are not enough months of the year to show all our clients’ vessels, but more can be found on our website jdyachts.com and our social media pages, you can find us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.

January 2021

Whilst the year started cold and bleak, following a Christmas lockdown, the boat market was busy and we were ecstatic to complete upon the sale of our client’s breath-taking 2012 Sunseeker 28 Metre Yacht, berthed in the magnificent French Riviera.

With endless extras including HD Underwater LED Lights, Tropical Air Conditioning, Electric Blinds throughout, a Hydraulic Flybridge Crane, a flybridge hot tub, Raymarine Night Vision Camera and so much more, she made for the most perfect start to the year for her new owners.

We wish them many happy times onboard.

February 2021

As we headed into February, the UK saw the number of people receiving a vaccine dose in the UK exceed 10 million, it also saw the sale of our clients’ Bavaria Sport 330 HT.

With only 198 hours covered, she was like new. Her crisp, clean interior and twin 220 HP Volvo Penta D3 engines made her the perfect boat for her new owners.

We wish her owners many brilliant adventures onboard, venturing between the British Isles.

March 2021

With the clocks going forwards and brighter days following, March was a busy time for our team. We were very pleased to complete upon the sale of our clients’ Princess V39.

With a Rovere Oak Wood High Gloss Interior, Cockpit Wet Bar and Hydraulic Hi-Lo Bathing Platform she made the perfect boat to head into Spring with.

We hope her new owners have enjoyed many joyous times since.

April 2021

April came as a relief to many, including ourselves, as hairdressers, pubs, restaurants and non-essential shops re-opened. Holidays within the UK resumed, and we saw visitors begin to return to our local area on the South coast.

April also saw the sale of our client’s lovely 2008 Fairline Targa 47. With extras including Bow and Stern Thrusters, an Onan 9.5Kva Generator, Reverse Cycle Air Conditioning, Blue Mood Lighting and Underwater Lights.

We wish her new owners many pleasurable times ahead.

May 2021

May continued to keep our team busy with the completion of this lovely 2007 Sunseeker Portofino 47.

Berthed in Duquesa, Spain with 4 berths in 2 cabins, an Electric Retractable Roof, Hi-Lo Bathing Platform and Wet Bar she made the most of the Spanish sun.

We hope that her new owners enjoy many days on board in the Spanish sunshine.

June 2021

As we enjoyed the celebrations for the Queen’s Official 95th Birthday in June, we also enjoyed sharing our client’s elation in the sale of their 2010 Beneteau Monte Carlo 42.

Berthed in beautiful Beaulieu, her grey hull, cream upholstery and spacious master cabin made her the ideal boat for her new owners.

We wish them many wonderful trips on board.

July 2021

July saw the end of the UK’s lockdown restrictions and things began to return to the new ‘normal’. As with the earlier months of the year, the market continued to boom, and we saw our client’s 2006 Fairline Targa 40 go ‘Under Offer’.

With twin 350 Volvo D6 engines and several extras to her specification, her new owners were thrilled.

We hope her owners enjoyed a wonderful Summer onboard.

August 2021

As normal, our British ‘Summer’ was not quite what we had hoped as we experienced the UK’s wettest August for a decade. However, this wasn’t the case in Duquesa, Spain where our client’s Astinor 46 was berthed.

With temperatures in excess of 25°C, her new owners would be able to enjoy many warm times on board making the most of her air conditioning system, flybridge bimini and teak laid flybridge decking.

We hope our clients are enjoying all that she offers in the glorious Spanish sunshine.

September 2021

In the month when people began ‘panic buying’ fuel in the UK, this was not a problem when it came to our client’s beautiful Targa 47 as her new owners intended to keep her berthed in Weymouth Marina.

With too many extras to list, she was the perfect upgrade for her new owners who were making the transition from a Targa 40. A perfect boat for all weathers, offering all the cover you need in the wetter months as well as plenty of room to soak up the sun with her retractable powered hard top on those warmer days.

We hope her new owners are enjoying their new Targa.

October 2021

In keeping with the name of this Fairline Targa 40, sold on behalf of our clients in October, we were as ecstatic as Fred Flintstone upon her completion. Yabba Dabba Doo!

Her spacious layout with two cabins, extendable sun bed over the garage and numerous storage areas, it meant that her new owners had plenty of space to enjoy many trips on board.

We hope that they are enjoying life at sea on their lovely Targa 40.

November 2021

With the temperatures dropping in the UK and snow setting in, we were pleased to think of warmer days in Corfu as our client’s Sunseeker Manhattan 70’s sale completed on the island.

With her white hull sparkling in the Ionian Sea, hydraulic lifting platform, bimini top and electric BBQ/ grill, she made for the perfect day at sea, enjoying the sun.

We wish her new owners many wonderful times onboard enjoying all that she offers.

December 2021

As Christmas approaches and the temperature continues to drop, we conclude the year with the sale of our client’s Fairline Phantom 46.

With three cabins, a sunny flybridge and spacious saloon, we are sure her new owners will enjoy many excursions on board following her relocation to Turkey.

We wish them all the best in their new ownership.

As we leave 2021 and all that it held behind us and look ahead to 2022, perhaps you are thinking that 2022 is the year for you...

The year for you to upgrade your vessel, the year for you to move from sailboat to motorboat, or perhaps it is the year for you to find your sea legs for the first time.

Whichever it may be, our team are here for you.
